With next years bridal show fast approaching, I realized that I never published a blog, or pictures even, of our setup from last years Bridal show.
The 2014 "All About Brides" Bridal show was my first ever expo & I was an absolute crazy person during the planning process. There was tons of planning involved; What am I going to give away? How will I "sell" my service? How should I design my booth to entice brides to come by? Should I display a few images, or all of my images? etc etc etc.
I decided after driving my self & my close friends crazy with all of my ideas, that i would take a more simple, laid back, approach since this was my first show ever! I realized that all of my "crazy" ideas were great, but also very expensive and the last thing I wanted to do was stress my self out and then lose money by investing more than I profited. So that's what I did...I went back to the drawing board and planned a more simple, but still very thought out, approach to my booth.
I set up my booth using some interior furniture, tons of easels, and a few little odds & ins to cozy my space.
To create a theme and sort of tie everything to together, I used black damask table runners (left over my own wedding LOL) and painted a few frames and "props" green (to match my branding).
Here's how it turned out:
Offering an incentive or "giveaway" is a great way to gain interest, and potentially new cliental. (Pictured Below: My lovely mom who so graciously agreed to come along and assist me) She was wonderful company & did an awesome job discussing my packages with potential clients that came through!
The 2014 show was a huge success for me for many reasons. I gained a huge amount of knowledge & experience, networked with some AMAZING wedding industry vendors (some of whom I actually still remain in contact with on a weekly basis), met a lot of amazing brides & couples, and booked several new weddings, bridal portraits, & engagement sessions. I had a blast at the 2014 show!!
Thank you SO much to everyone that helped me with the success of my first show. I appreciate you all more than you will ever know :)
I also want to thank all of the brides that took the time to stop by and talk with me about your big day - you ladies ROCK!
I have HUGE plans for my 2015 booth & I can not wait to see how it all comes out; A new set up, new designs, new ideas, & completely new images.
